With its expansion into Germany, Ignis partnered with Pennylane — alongside Boheifilm — to lead the production of testimonial videos and a financial podcast. Our deep product understanding, strengthened by Fredrik’s former role as Head of Design at Pennylane, allowed us to deliver authentic and strategically aligned storytelling.

To support Pennylane’s expansion into Germany, Ignis led a multi-day video production spread across several weeks, carefully orchestrating testimonial shoots with German clients alongside a finance-focused podcast hosted by Tobias Janiesch, Pennylane’s Managing Director in Germany. From planning and logistics to on-set direction and editorial supervision, our goal was clear: help Pennylane build trust, relevance, and emotional connection with the German market through authentic, well-crafted storytelling.

Extending Pennylane’s brand into Germany

The testimonial series was crafted to feel unmistakably Pennylane — aligned with the brand’s French foundations — while introducing a distinctly German tone that speaks to local expectations of clarity, trust, and professionalism. We kept the visual language cohesive across markets, but tuned the pacing, framing, and messaging so Germany feels like a natural evolution, not a separate identity. The result is the voices of Pennylane’s first German adopters, sharing why this new way of working with money is simply better.
